On April 22, 2009, Cut Circle brings its dynamic performance style to the rich and highly varied sound world of Johannes Ockeghem (d. 1497), the most famous composer of the later 15th century. Ockeghem’s stunning Missa L’homme armé serves as the centerpiece of a program that also features lavish Marian motets, sumptuous settings of courtly love poetry, and boisterous French songs.
